Cronimo Fluid Bed Dryers for the Manufacture of Pharmaceutical Solid Dosage Oral Forms

 

General Description:

The Cronimo CitDryer is a fluidized bed dryer used for for drying the wet granulate produced by a High-Shear Mixer Granulator. The CitDryer can also be adapted for top spraying. The CroNiMo fluid bed dryers come in a in a range of sizes with the smallest model having a 10 kg capacity up to the largest model capable of drying 300-350 kg of wet granulate.

Construction

The lower body, incorporating the heated air inlet and diffuser plates, are manufactured of polished 316 stainless steel. the bowls may be mounted on casters and equipped with pneumnatic lifting cylinders for easy for easy lifting and mobility. A rotating washing nozzle and drain pipe may be incorporated for an optional CIP/WIP system. The expansion chambers are manufactured of polished 316 stainless steeland and designed for either 2 or 10 bar explosion containment. The expansion chambers are equipped ventS for explosion relief, bservation windowS, ports for fitting top or bottom sprayers, sensors and may be equipped with doors for automatic product loading and unloading. The main expansion chamber also houses the filter bag frames and the optional bag shaking mechanisim.

AIr Injection and Treatment

The air injection units are made of type 316 and 304 stainless steel and powered by spark proof self limiting blowers and heated with 316ss clad electric heating elements. The air treatment system can be supplied with HEPA filters a dehumidifier and automatic dampers on air inlet.
