The Titan Series Presses
General Description:
The Titan AG-2 rotary press is designed to press 1 layer tablets with 2 discharges, or 2 layer tablets with one discharge. The AG-3 can be configured as a single, double or triple layer tableting machine with one discharge.
Both presses are capable of pressing tablets up to 55 mm in diameter. Depending on tablet size, the AG-2 can press over 200,000 tablets/hour through both discharges, while the AG-3 can press over 100,000 tablets/hour through its single outlet

Products pressed on the Titan presses include, but are not limited to, dishwashing detergent tablets, laundry detergent tablets, water softener tablets, Chlorine tablets for swimming pools, cosmetics and food products.
The Titan series was first developed in 1997 and is now an industry standard for tablet presses. This robust machine has an established reputation for reliability and economy, and has proven to be ideal for long production runs as well as for short production runs by contract manufacturers
HMI Recipe Screen
The PLCs based press controls are customized to each customer’s requirements. Linotech Presses employ Siemens PLCs with 12 inch touch screen HMI with different access levels for operators and supervisors.

Surfaces are made of stainless steel or coated with application-specific corrosion resistant coatings. The enclosures are safety interlocked with a smooth fit and finish for product containment. The compression chamber can be kept under negative air pressure to reduce operator exposure to dust.
The turrets have hard chrome plating on the working surfaces. Punch holders ride in lubricated bushings. The turrets are driven by powerful AC motors coupled with frequency inverters. The turret drives have enough torque so that the presses can be restarted under full load without any problem.
Removing
Powder Feeder
The presses are designed to use as many readily available, off-the-shelf components as possible. Most of the major components in the compression zone can be removed without any tools for easy cleaning. The modular design makes it easy for technicians to remove major sub-assemblies without having to disassemble the entire press. A simple tool is supplied to facilitate de-tooling.
