We are pleased to announce that AC Compacting LLC has been selected to represent the CroNiMo line of High Shear Granulators, Fluid Bed Dryers, Tablet Coaters and Mills in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico

The name CroNiMo is an assemblage of letters derived from three of the basic elements usually found in high quality stainless steels and other exotic alloys (Chromium, Nickel and Molybdenum). As its name implies, CroNiMo is committed to producing machinery that blends high quality European craftsmanship and Stainless Steel. This Austrian-Dutch family-run, Argentinean company has slowly and quietly built up a strong global customer base because of their commitment to quality and the competitive price position of its products. Their products include High Shear Granulators, Mills, Coaters and Fluid Bed Dryers as well as completely integrated systems.

Ikegami TIE-7000A Automatic Color Tablet Inspection System

At Interphex 2008, AC Compacting launched the Ikegami Color Tablet Inspection System to the US and Canadian Pharmaceutical Industry. The Ikegami tablet vision inspection machine detects defects in tablets, defective printing and foreign objects on the surface. Using advanced color line sensors and high speed video processing technology, it can detect objects as small as 50µm in diameter and can process up to 250,000 tablets/hour. Ikegami, based in Tokyo, Japan, and with facilities throughout the world, is a leading manufacturer of advanced CCD TV cameras, image transmission, image processing, and recording systems.

MedelPharm Single Station Tableting Presses for Pharma Research and Clinical Batch Production

Also available through AC Compacting LLC in North America are the MedelPharm Stylcam single station presses. The Stylcam 100P is a production press intended for pharmaceutical clinical batch production. The Stylcam 200R is a fully instrumented version of the 100P, and is designed to be used by pharmaceutical scientist and formulators designing solid dosage oral forms.

The "ALL NEW" SADE SP Series tablet/capsule Weight Sorters CI Electronics Ltd, the world's leading manufacturer of tablet/capsule weight sorters for the pharmaceutical industry, has introduced its all new SADE SP Series of tablet/capsule weight sorters setting new standards for sorting precision. The range includes floor standing units with hoppers for production and clinical trials batches as well as a bench top model suitable for smaller R&D and formulation batches that sort by weight to an accuracy of +/- 1mg.

Specifically designed for use in GMP environments, the SADE SP Series can sort most standard shapes and sizes of tablets and capsules without the need for change parts. They are very easy to clean and set up between batches and require minimum operator adjustment. All contact parts are made using electro-polished 316 Stainless steel as standard.

SADE SP Series sorters are fitted with the new CI Mk 6 weigh head for improved weighing performance. The design of the new feed and sort mechanisms provides precision handling of the tablets/capsules on and off the weigh pan and assures consistent sorting accuracy over 24/7 operation.

SADE SP Series sorters have a sophisticated control software that allows multiple sorting modes and can calculate statistical data for inclusion in a batch report. With USB and Ethernet connectivity, SP Series sorters can be linked to local or network printers and in Remote Mode can be linked to central Batch Record or Control Systems using an XML interface.

ICO-PAG Washing Systems

We are pleased to announce our new line of ICO PAG mobile washing, sterilizing, CIP/SIP and decontamination systems manufactured by Oleodinamici S.p.A. of Modena, Italy. These truly portable cleaning systems are designed to reduce the amount of energy, water, detergents and chemicals required for the cleaning of pharmaceutical processing equipment. High pressure water, orbital spray nozzles and other advanced features ensure quick and thorough cleaning. The water consumption (and resulting waste water disposal requirements) of these systems is only a fraction of conventional CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems. The ICO washing systems are controlled by advanced PLCs integrated with touch screen operator interfaces. Cleaning methods are password protected, and can be programmed and recalled for later use. Electronic records comply with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. We are also offering the ICO decontamination chambers which can be configured to suit your requirements.
