General Description:
The Medelpharm Stylcam model 200R is an instrumented version of the MedelPharm Stylcam 100P, and can be used as a single station rotary tablet press simulator and a compaction simulator. It utilizes a programable electronic cam and a modifiable mechanical cam to vary with considerable precision the tablet's pre-compression, compression, ejection and take-off forces.
Used as a simulator, the Stylcam 200R can be used to simulate production-scale production rotary tablet presses while using a minimum of powder. The Stylcam can also be used to press controlled clinical batches of up to 2400 tablets/hour with automatic feeder.

With the Stylcam 200R press, you will save considerable expense because you will know how your experimental formulation will behave under compression before granulating large batches of material.
Analis Software
The Stylcam 200R comes with a computer interface and data acquisition software to enable you to select different tablet compression profiles and to simulate different types of rotary tableting presses.
The mechanical area is separated from the compression area, and the compression area is kept under a slight negative air pressure to reduce operator exposure to dust. The press uses standard IPT B, BB, D, Euro or customer-specified tooling.
